Oil & Water

I'm trying to get outside of my little box and take pictures of things that I wouldn't normally.  Tonight, we were going to go to the bonfire in town and I thought I could get some good shots, but it was a bit too cold.  So, I settled for mixing some water, oil and food coloring in my kitchen to see what I could get.



Now, what I actually need is a macro lens.  So, honey... if you're reading this... I know I said I didn't *need* anything else.  But a macro lens would be really great.  Okay, thanks.

After I got these, I pulled back a bit and ended up seeing someone else's face.

Woah.  That was weird.  But a nice surprise!
